This fabulous self catering accommodation in Greyton offers three bedrooms (2 x double beds & 2 x singles), two bathrooms (mes), a very spacious open-plan living area with well-equipped kitchen. Glass doors open the full length of the house onto a covered veranda overlooking the garden, a level lawn with a fabulous braai boma and mountain view. Quality linen and towels provided. A fireplace in the living area and underfloor heating for chilly winter nights. Within easy walking distance to the Greyton nature reserve and all of the village amenities. Off-street parking for 2 cars.

Rates 2017:

• R2,150 for the house per night for up to 2 guests.
• R150 per person thereafter up to 6 guests.
• Children between 2 – 12 R100 (Two fold up mattresses with bedding can be provided at R100 per mattress by prior arrangement).
• Children under 2 free of charge.

A R500 refundable damages deposit is applicable.

Terms: 50% deposit payable prior to arrival, in order to secure the booking. Balance payable no later than 3 days prior to arrival. Cash and internet transfers acceptable, regret no cheques, debit or credit cards.

Pet friendly: No

Smoking permitted outside only.

2 night minimum stays over weekends.

1 night stays by special arrangement and a surcharge will then be applicable.

Upon arrival in Greyton, the Jewel of the Overberg, you will experience Pure Country with no additives! Charming shady lanes where horses, cows and donkeys roam freely…. gourmet restaurants and cosy coffee shops from where to observe the village go by. Local cuisine ranges from light lunches, tapas, fine dining, boerkos, steaks, to organic vegan transition town meals! Wireless internet is provided in most of our daytime cafes, so if you cannot put that laptop down you will be able to ‘check in’ at some of our coffee bars…… There are beautiful hikes in the 2, 222 ha Greyton Nature Reserve, with rivers, rock pools & waterfalls, bird watching, swimming spots and mountain bike trails – please see for what else to do whilst you are here! Directions to Greyton: FROM CAPE TOWN Take the N2 east towards Somerset West and Sir Lowry’s Pass, heading toward Caledon. Drive past Grabouw and over Houw Hoek Pass, past Bot River, and then, approximately 23ks further along the N2, just before Caledon, look out for the R406 Genadendal/Greyton turnoff to your left. Greyton is about 32 km down the tarred R406 through rolling farmlands.
